Description

A fragment of an engraved silver disk, which has been cut to shape, drilled and reused as a pendant. The original disk would have been about 40mm diameter. The engraving is very fine and includes thirty three concentric circles along the edge, at six circles per millimetre. The rest of the design is floral. Plain on reverse. Probably Roman in origin.
